Vielen Dank für den Kauf von PowerFonts 1.0.
Dieses Programm wir Ihnen sehr viel Zeit, und damit
verbunden, viel Geld einsparen.
Die implementierten Werkzeuge geben Ihnen manigfaltige
Möglichkeiten, Ihre 3D-Buchstaben zu kreieren und modifizieren.
RGB Software beabsichtigt, PowerFonts weiterzuentwickeln
und noch mehr Werkzeuge zu implementieren.
Haben Sie besondere Wünsche, Probleme oder Vorschläge ? Wir
möchten Sie bitten, uns diese mitzuteilen, damit Sie
in Zukunft ein Programm besitzen, das
keine Ihrer Wünsche mehr offenläßt.
Bitte, zögern Sie nicht, uns Ihre Ideen mitzuteilen. Es liegt
auch in Ihrem Interesse.

I'm sorry the next lines are in english........
Updates:
* Color all.
The function `Color all' now really sets the colors for all the
objectparts.
* PowerFonts.Prefs directory.
The file PowerFonts.Prefs in not stored the same directory as
PowerFonts is started from as mentioned in the manual, but is
now stored in the `S:' directory.

* VideoScape format.
PowerFonts is now also able to save the characters to
VideoScape format. This is a very simple but extremely
efficient format developed by Alan Hastings.
The colors as you set them in PowerFonts are not saved to the
VideoScape file because they are not fully supported.
Sharp-cornerpoints are saved in Real3D as double points, so the
smoothing will be stopped on that spot. These double-points
are left out in VideoScape file because they have no use.
This will give you for now the opportunity to convert it to
almost any 3D format if you have a program like the
professional Pixel3D or a shareware program like VERTEX.
But RGB Software will also continue working on other formats.
The formats we are now working on are ghosted displayed in the
menu and will be ready in the next version.
The format of this file is plain ascii. So you may load in a
ascii editor and edit it.
* Automatic holes - Standard holes - Reverse holes
Due to errors in some files other then the original AGFA
CG Intellifont® holes may be sometimes constructed wrongly.
Important information like wether a shape is a hole or not, is
not always stored in the files.
Therefore PowerFonts will always determine itself wether a form
is a hole or not. This always correctly done.
In a hole the direction of the bevelling normally should be
inwards. Due to errors in some files other then original AGFA
CG Intellifont® these holes will be sometimes constructed
outwards. Therefore three functions are added:
* Automatic holes.
With this option choosen, PowerFonts will automatically
calculate the direction of a hole. In 99 percent of the cases
it will work out just fine.
Very few font-files are so terribly build up that PowerFonts
cannot handle them. But they do exist. So for the leftover 1
percent two other functions may be choosen.
* Standard holes
With this function selected, the standard data from the
typeface file are used. Especially the original Agfa® fonts
will always correctly decoded, although the automatic option
will also prove it's strength.
* Reverse holes
This will reverse the beveling of the holes. Because many
non-original AGFA® fonts have reversed holes descriptions this
function will `re-reverse' the holes.
Because this function will be used more often, we moved the
`Iconify' function to the menu and will function there the
same as described in the manual. The leftover `cycle-button'
is now used for choosing how to bevel the holes.
Note:
In the `3D mode' it is easier to visually check if the holes
are correctly bevelled.
* Adjust corner angle
Available while corners is ON and NOT in 3D mode.
For Real3D a sharp corner is made up out two identical points
after each other. Information about which point should be a
sharp one is not supplied in the CG Fonts. PowerFonts
determines this by measuring the angles of each corner.
Official CG Fonts points are normally succesfully processed
with a standard angle. However, as discussed above, some
programs decide differently on the AGFA standards. That is why
you now can set your own angle.
When you activate this option you will get a little window.
With the sroller you may adjust the angle. If an measured
corner-angle is smaller than the adjusted angle, it will be
marked as a sharp-corner-point. A little circle will be drawn
on this point.
`Ok' will accept the changes and recalculate the points of all
characters.
`All' will give you a preview of all the characters without
leaving the `angle' window.
`One' will only process the first character for previewing.
`Cancel' will leave the window and restore the old settings.
There is also a cycle-gadget with two options.
`All points'
will process all the point in the characters.
`Only line-connected points'
will cause PowerFonts to only examine the
points which are connected to a straight line
segment. Try it and you will notice the
difference. Especially with high angle values.
